Top 10 and Bottom 5 of the top half of 2016 -What films to see, which to avoid and what to look forward to

On the radio the other day, the announcer asked what the best films had been for the year... so far?

It has been a record-breaking year at the cinema, but finding quality cinema has been a challenge this year.

The teams at Russelling Reviews and Reel Dialogue have looked back over the year and compiled the best and worst films to date in 2016? Also, we will include some that have promise in the second half of the year.

Here we go! The rankings were based on their overall star rating.

The Best... so far... of 2016
